Abstract: the article presents an assessment of the intensity and prevalence of early-age caries and identifies the main risk factors for its development among children of Andijancity. A visual clinical examination was performed using a wooden probe and a mirror, items and means of oral hygiene for young children were presented, as well as the rules and features of their use were described. Children’s dentists should recommend starting hygienic oral care of children even before teething.
