Abstract: The Internet has transformed social interactions, communication patterns and even our identities. A constant digital presence has touched the hearts and minds of millions of young people as they spend more and more time online. The next generation of learners will think, act, and learn differently because they were born and raised in a technology-enriched environment. Nowadays, 90% of internet users use social media in one way or other. They could even create their own content, collaborate with others and respond to people in a better way. Everyone started spending a lot of time in online learning, chatting with their friends through social network, playing online games with their peers etc. As the time spent in online is more paves the way for several problems relating to all aspects of a human being. Frequent use of the Internet voluntarily sends private and confidential information to be misused by others, and subsequently to identity theft. The field of cyber-physical security is becoming increasingly important with the advent of low-cost intelligent and connected IOT (Internet of Things) devices. The Metaverse has the potential to break the boundary between real and virtual space and escape from physical time and space constraints. Technology is dramatically changing the way people think and feel. Cyber psychology is also known as internet or web psychology. This research shifts to a broader spectrum, focusing on human behavior as it relates to new technologies such as artificial intelligence, virtual reality (the Metaverse), and Internet- based things.
